Full Steam Ahead

The Edenton Steamers are a collegiate-level summer baseball team in Northeastern NC and a proud member of The Old North State League! Originating in 1998, the Steamers have been a large part of the Edenton community and surrounding areas by delivering exceptional play and a fun atmosphere in the beloved ballpark of Historic Hicks Field. Throughout the organization's existence, the team has been a member of three major wood bat summer leagues, playing in the Coastal Plain League from their inception through 2019, the Tidewater Summer League from 2020 through 2023, and for a second season in 2025, the Old North State League. The Steamers have brought home a total of five cup championships to the town of Edenton - 2004, 2005, 2015, 2022, and 2023 (shown above).
